Hi, Mara -- thank you for your question, and sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing!

Have your tried importing the slide into a new slide to see if you find improvement? And can you please also share if you are working locally on your C: Drive when creating courses? If problems continue, it can also be useful to run this repair of Storyline on your machine.
