Forced user to view layers

May 27, 2013

Hi Guys

I know this topic has been discussed a bit in the past, but try as i might i still cant make this work.

What i am trying to do is have the user click on 4 different 'buttons' using hot spots so they can navigate on what appears to be one screen while viewing multiple layers.

My problem is in creating the rule that requires all layers to be visited/ viewed without any actual real button clicking. I am getting stuck when trying to click the next button wheen the rule is applied.

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

Thanks

Rach

Hi Rachael, I've attached a revised story for you that works. I made a number of changes as follows:

1. I got rid of the hotspots and just added visited states to each of the clickable elements on your base slide.

2. I removed all the duplicated buttons and objects you placed on each layer. You don't need these because the elements on the base layer will work on your layers provided that the "prevent user from clicking the base layer" option is not selected

3. I then revised your player trigger on the base slide to active the next button once all the objects on the main layer have been visited.
