Forgotten minority

Hi all, I enjoy reading about all the new features in Storyline 360 but can’t help being disappointed and a little frustrated that small e-learning designers seem to be left out of the loop when they can’t afford a yearly subscription for the product. I recognise the move to cloud based design software, but still think there’s a market for standalone versions like the original Storyline 2 that I use. Appears to be a common approach across the industry, too with most applications originally available as lifetime standalone licences have or are moving to subscription based services. For one person operations trying to produce quality, small user volume courses it’s a tough ask to stump up for a yearly subscription that is nearly as much as the original lifetime license. Guess that’s progress, eh? Cheers Ken
