We often use the same quiz questions in different Storyline projects. Sometimes (but not always!) when we import a group of questions, the first slide (usually a T/F) loses its formatting for the answer options. The "True" and "False" options are separated by white space and a scroll bar has been inserted (See attachment). Any idea how to stop this from happening?
Yeah I have had an issue with this as well. Not sure what the cause of it is, I suggest making sure that the questions, before you copy, don't have some hidden "spaces" between the true and false. I hope this helps.
Further to this discussion, I have done more testing and I can now recreate the problem.
Our original template (we'll call it StoryA) has a "Question" layout that does not include a counter.
Our new template (StoryB) has the Question" layout modified to include a counter.
We create a new project using the StoryB template.
When we import question bank questions from a StoryA project, they look great until we apply the new Question layout (so we can see the counter). Then the vertical spacing of some of the answers goes crazy. I have attached StoryA and StoryB project examples so you can see what I mean. (The T/F answer to Question 1 in StoryB is typical of what's happening and yet, in this example, the Multiple Choice question is okay.)
Hi Debbie! Sorry for the delay in my response, but I have been out of the office. I am not seeing the issue that you are reporting, but I am confused as it seems Story A has the counter added unless I am looking at the wrong thing and your Story B does not indicate the issue as you previously shared in the original image above . Are you able to recreate the issue in a brand new file as well?
I'd like to try explaining this one more time because the more we use our new template, the more it happens. There are two attachments to this email. The first one (OriginalSlide.jpg) shows the slide from the source project. The attachment called ImportedSlide.jpg shows what happens to that slide after we import it into a new project and apply our new Layout. The alignment of the answer text gets moved/changed even though the only difference between the two layouts is the addition of the counter.
Hi Debbie! I took a look at the files you previously sent to try to remind myself, but again, I'm not able to see this issue. Do you have updated files that we could take a look at to try to reproduce the error?

Hi Debbie,
Sorry but I don't see your attached file, just FYI.
Sorry about that. I'll try again.

Hi Debbie!
There was another thread here that may be helpful as well. If you think it's a problem for support to take a look at, please reach out here.
Thanks Leslie - good to know. I'll check those items.
No problem Debbie :)
