I wanted to work with a custom marker so I designed an Icon and added a hotspot to it. My only problem is that is shows the layer only when the user hovers the mouse over the outline of the hotspot... Is there a way to fix this?
From what you're saying it sounds like you created a shape and set it to "no fill" instead of using an actual hotspot which is available in the Insert menu
I did used the Hotspot option in the insert menu and when I look at my time line it says «oval hotspot». I tried to filled it with a random color just to see if it would have any effect and it didn't...
My intend was not to see the hotspot but just to make sure that the user could click on the icon and not only the outline.
I strated everything over and did exactly what I tried the first time and now all my Hotspots are working proprely... I don't know what happened the first time but my problem seems to be solved now! Next time i'll use your suggestion which would make me skip one step to this long process!

Hi Katia,
I suggest what Jeff mentioned. Instead of using the hotspot feature use a shape (no fill/ no border) and add a trigger to it.
Hotspot are by default invisible and do not have any attributes that can make them visible.
