There isn't a built in way to change all the formatting for every caption box, but I've heard it's a popular feature request.
I've also seen community members who suggest setting up one caption box in your preferred shape, color, font and then using the format painter to quickly copy to each additional caption box.
I typically set up one caption the way I want it and then copy/paste the existing one instead of creating a new one every time. It would be a nice-to-have to set a default caption style, but I'm not used to that functionality anyway, so it's never bothered me.
Bummer. That really stinks. Glad you guys have already explored this, and thanks for telling us that it's not a feature, Ashley. Always helps when you can stop searching for an answer that doesn't exist. Copy and paste it is... :(

Does anyone know of a solution to this? It seems a bit mad that you've got to do it for every caption.

That's also why we keep these older threads around for folks to find the answers - so glad it helped you out Jazzmine.
