Is there a good tutorial on formatting graded quiz questions? When I try to change the layout of a drag and drop graded quiz question to one of my custom masters, the question no longer functions. Also, I would like to customize the appearance of items such as the draggable boxes in the drag and drop quiz questions. Is this possible?
Here's how to create freeform Drag and Drop interactions in Storyline. And can you tell us a little more about what exactly is happening when you say the question no longer functions when you change the layout? Thanks!
Thanks Peter, but I was referring to the graded drag and drop questions as we want users to be able to track their progress based on a scoring system.
After I create and save a graded drag and drop question, I get an essentially unformatted question on a singe page. When I switch the layout to the template we have created for questions, only the top part of the top drag and drop row is visible ... and it doesn't work.
I have two questions. First, can I change the default layout to that of one of our templates. Second, can I reformat elements of the drag and drop question such as the drag and drop boxes themselves to a look that is more consistent with the graphics on our site?
Thanks for the additional info, Ted. Are you able to share your file with us so we can get a better idea of exactly what might be going on with the drag and drop functionality? You can do that here. Thanks!
I'm thinking you know that Multiple Response would work, but that you already have created a multiple choice and want to "convert" it to multiple response. Yes?
I don't think that can be done. Hoping someone will refute this and tell us how! Or confirm so either way we'll have an answer.
The question text and the answers each sit within their own text boxes, and if you'd like to change the formatting of that text box shape you'll want to right click on the box, and choose "Format shape" to change the background fill color, outline, etc. You could also change it by clicking on the shape and using the Format tab at the top of the window.
You might want to take a look at the Slide Master which can be found on the View menu, there are question slide masters in there so if you want to make changes that apply to all your questions that would be the place to do it, it'll save the time needed to make changes on every question
Currently, the default is set to center the radio button with the text, and it's not possible to align the radio button to the top of the text.
It's not a feature we've added to Storyline yet, but we have a report of folks who have requested it, and I can add you to that. Here's a bit more about how we work to prioritize feature requests.

How can I change formats on the Quiz questions? For example I chose Multiple Choice but I really needed Multip Choice with multiple answers? Thanks,

Hi,
How do I change the color of the shape the question text is in?
Thanks,
Marie

Can someone tell me how I align the radio button with the top of the text box? See attached image.
Hi Kristen,
Currently, the default is set to center the radio button with the text, and it's not possible to align the radio button to the top of the text.
