Formatting issues after translation

Dec 16, 2014

Has anyone ever experienced formatting issues, such as extra spaces and charachters after having a third-party translate their source file?

I'm trying to troubleshoot why my language reviewers are reporting formatting issues in my new storyline course. These issues were not present in the English source file. The translation company is unable to duplicate the issues on their end.

My reviewers are recieving a web published versison of the course sent to them via email.

Thoughts?

Hello Kelli!

Welcome to the community.

When you export text for translation, you may find that some text formatting (bold, italics, etc.) isn't saved.

This is a known issue. It'll be fixed in the next software update for Articulate Storyline. Enable the Check for updates at startup feature to be notified when the update is available.
