Formatting of text in Data Entry control
Nov 05, 2015
Hi,
I am trying to format characters that are enterred in a Data Entry control. The Control is supposed to be empty prior user data input. Characters enterred should have the format Arial bold, 14pt, horisontal and vertically centered.
When I apply the format, first it looks like it is accepted, but if leaving the control, everything goes back to something that looks like default; Arial normal, 12pt, left justified, vertically centerred.
Anyone who have experienced this before, and has a solution?

Hi, Jan -- It looks like a similar question was asked over in this thread, so you may want to try some of the suggestions listed. Please let us know if that is not what you had in mind, or if you are all set! :)
Hi, Jan -- I also wanted to share this thread, as well, in case the issues listed there are more similar to what you are experiencing. If so, would it be possible for you to share your file so we can confirm the behavior?
Hi,
I have to check with my management if I am allowed to share it. Will you just use it for internal error verification and fault finding, or will it be public in any way?
Please let me come back regarding this issue.

Hi, Jan -- Thanks for your reply! If you were to share your file here in the thread, it would be available publicly so your fellow community members could view it and weigh in with their ideas and suggestions. Some find that they are able to share a pared-down or basic version that illustrates the behavior they are seeing without sharing proprietary content.
However, as confidential review is necessary for many, you would also be able to share your file using this form, and it would remain private/would only be accessible internally to Articulate staff.
I also wanted to note, as you replied via email, your signature details are displayed publicly here in the thread, so you are welcome to use the EDIT button beneath your post to remove that information if you wish. :)
