I downloaded the trial version of Storyline 2 today. When I tried to use one of the characters included in the software, all are not formatting correctly. See screen shot attachment.
I briefly used a trial version of Storyline 1 last summer and today tried to import that first attempt at a learning module created in Storyline 1 into Storyline 2 - the character in that course did the same thing. Also a lot of other formatting was out.
I just wondered if others had experienced the same problem and if there is a simple solution. If it helps I'm using a new laptop with windows 8.1

I didn't think it had worked at first as the characters in the module I converted from Storyline 1 were still de-capitated but I deleted them and was able to import new versions which now work fine. The other problems I was having with the colour picker tool and image issues have also resolved.
Many thanks for your help - spend most of my day thinking I was going mad! Even spent several hours this evening with a friend who has been using Storyline for a few years to no avail. You're a lifesaver!

Looks like an issue that we have seen reported in the past, and you'll want to check your DPI settings and be sure they're set to 96.
