Is there a search filter so results will only show threads from the Storyline forum?

Hi Sam,

One thing you can do is manage your forum subscriptions: http://community.articulate.com/forums/forumsubscriptions.aspx  There really isn't a way to filter only Storyline threads if you're subscribed to all forums. So, you could register another email account that subscribes only to Storyline and use your other email account to subscribe to the other forums. That way you could filter your questions using your mail settings.

For what it's worth, we know there are some things we can do to improve search and filtering--and we're working on it!

At your suggestion, I checked my subscriptions and found I was subscribed to none of the forums.  Perhaps this is the default.

Moving ahead, I subscribed to Storyline and ran a search.  I still get results from all forums.

Maybe I misunderstood your comment.  Subscriptions seems to apply to emails from forum threads, not search queries.

Also, from a previous thread, Brian offered this:

You can actually perform a search on just the Storyline forum by tweaking the URL that is generated from your search.  For example, let's say that you're searching for threads related to HTML5.  Thus, the URL looks like this:

http://community.articulate.com/search/SearchResults.aspx?g=html5

To search only the Storyline forum, you'll need to add the following to the end of the URL:  &SectionID=65

http://community.articulate.com/search/SearchResults.aspx?g=html5&SectionID=65
