Frame size issue when converting to Storyline 2

We're working on converting some Storyline 1 files to Storyline 2. Everything looks okay on the slides, but when we try to publish, the player size is all stretched out. However, everything appears to be set identically to the old file. Any idea how to fix it so it isn't stretched out?
I'm attaching a picture of how it's supposed to look, versus how it looks now.
Note: I've already verified all the player buttons have been removed, so I'm not sure why it's still stretched out. Some of the files are stretched out just length-wise, and others stretch out the other way giving me a gray stripe on each side.

Are you able to share the .story file itself?
Have you double checked every single slide that the player buttons are removed? Sometimes one or two slides will try to hang onto them.
If you're not concerned about having the player at all (which, without buttons, it doesn't sound like you need it) - then you could just use a transparent player.
I've attached the template for a transparent player that I use rather frequently.

Also have you looked into ensuring that they were the same story size upon upgrading the course? You can find the information about story size here.
