I'm having some interesting issues with a free-form drag and drop interaction I am w0rking on. The drop zones are not accepting the correct answers once they are dropped, and the zones themselves are disappearing at random. I don't see anything obvious that would be causing this issue. Can someone please take a look and tell me where I am going wrong. This should be a pretty straightforward interaction. I made sure that none of the zones are overlapping with one another and double checked that the drop zones match the responses on the back end.
I think your problems are 1. the hover triggers (which you don´t need, because it´s a preset state, so hover works without any trigger) and 2. the order of the items on the timeline, drop items should be under drag items.
Try to delete the triggers and reorder the drop items under the drag items on the timeline.
Worked for me, but you should test if this is the behavior you want to have. :)
