I have a question regarding free form text boxes - when I publish my course the text boxes appear but whenever I write in the box the font it not coloured in i.e. the letters are just outlined so its not very clear. How can I fix this?
That looks a bit strange. You mentioned this happens after publishing, do you see the same thing when Previewing?
Are you publishing for Web, LMS, HTML5, CD, etc.? If publishing for HTML5, Web or LMS, how are you viewing the content (what browser, locally or uploaded content)?
Are you able to share a .STORY file that contains a slide where this is reproduced, or an inserted slide from the original project?
I am publishing to Web. It is viewed via dropbox and after I have uploaded it to our website. It happens every time, even when I have made a completely new storyline file and made the slide from scratch.
Thanks for the additional information. The Dropbox usage concerns me a little, I'm seeing more and more issues pop up for developers that are using that for hosting their courses. However, if you're seeing this after uploading it to your web server as well, I can see how that's probably not the issue.
I'm also not sure what browsers you've tested this in.
Are you able to share a file where I can test this a bit? If you're concerned with posting the file here, you're welcome to send it to us in a support case.

Is it something to do with the settings?
Thanks
Also, it does not do the same during preview. It works fine in preview, its only when I publish.
Hi Tessa. I hope you had a great weekend!
