Free Response Interactions

Hi! I am working on a project in which I need the user to enter their first and last name before they go on to the next slide. How it is currently set up, though, the user can just click the free response interaction next to "first name" or "last name" and then the button that allows them to go to the next slide pops up. So, if they want to get to the next slide without entering their name, they can... I do not want that to happen. They NEED to enter their name.
But, I am confused on how to make it required for them to enter something in the free response boxes before they are allowed to see the button to move on... I am attaching a small file of exactly what I am trying to do.

Hi Stephanie,
You're also going to need to add some variables to check that there is something within each of those text boxes. I saw an example in this thread and there is another example at the bottom of this thread.
