Freebie: Adaptive Course Templates

Hi,

I created some templates for my recent DevLearn session and wanted to share them here. The templates have the following features:

  • Final test that ends early: as soon as the learners gets a certain number of questions right or wrong
  • Chapters (1-3) which display additional content when the learner doesn't correctly answer the associated pretest question
  • Chapters (4-5) which display additional content when the learner doesn't correctly answer an in-chapter checkpoint question
  • Final test gives you credit for (and skips) questions when the learner correctly answered the associated pretest question

I've built out versions for Storyline 1, Storyline 2, and Storyline 360.

Cheers,
Simon

Hi Michael, being the lazy (I mean "energy efficient") person I am, I started with an SL1 file, then upgraded that to SL2. After that I upgraded the SL2 file to SL360.

While I was developing it, I did a few tests starting directly from SL2 or SL360. That was just when I saw things that might produce different results between a clean start and an upgrade.

Simon, I've also been missing a few notifications to subscribed threads. It's really hard to know how many, but I've discovered three updated threads just by accident over the past few weeks. Letting your subconscious work on issues has been the practice of many of the "great minds" throughout history. I often find the solutions to unsolvable problems that way.
