Freeform drag and drop check answers on drop?
Jun 10, 2016
Hi all,
Is it possible to get a drag and drop activity to check responses as the bits are dropped rather than all at the end? I see the option in the d&d options but it seems to behave the same either ticked or not.
Also. Is it possible to have different feedback for each drag and drop target? I've been trying to use drop correct states but they don't seem to react.
Any advise?
Cheers
If it helps this is the part of the brief ive been given im trying to do
*Activity
Name the three areas of the brain most likely to be affected by a dementia. (Diagram from slide 8 entered without the name of areas of brain visible. Drag and drop activity.
3 chances before correct answer is revealed. Feedback should read:
Well done. The …… area of the brain controls……
Or
Sorry. You are incorrect. Please try again.*

Hi,
Does my attached file help you? If not I would suggest you to upload you file.

It does a bit. i managed to figure out most of my issues and it looks the same as yours so I guess I did right so there's that.
The only bit of the brief I'm having trouble matching is it giving 3 attempts to answer before filling in the answer for you. Here's my slide in question.
OK, for this I added a variable called QuizCounter to check how many times the user has tried.
Now, that is some fine thinking and might just be ticket. Thanks very much for your input :)
Great! Good luck
Hi all,
This is just a freefrom question as part of the content and not a quiz.
This is want I would like to happen:
Drag bottle 85% drop in the box, feedback to be revealed as incorrect, try again
Dag bottle 75% drop in the box, feedback to be revealed as incorrect again, try again
Drag bottle 90% drop in the box, feedback to be revealed as correct, well done, great job .
Click continue.
Hi Andreas,
I downloaded your file and it kind helped me, but I noticed that after dragging and dropping bottle 75% & 85% which are the incorrect answers, these bottles go back to the original place after dropping them on the box.
The idea is to drop reveal feedback but stay in the box when the next bottle is being dropped in the box.
I have included the storyline slide here.
Hi Prudence!
I noticed you also shared the same file over in this thread, and I recently responded to you there. We can keep the conversation going in that thread, if you'd like!
