Freeform Hot Spot Question Problem

We are moving on area of our online training resources from Captivate to Storyline. I need to replicate (as much as possible) the look and feel. To that end I want to be able to drop an indicator where a user clicks on hot spot slides. I think the current hot spot indicator is confusing and simply doesn't fit our look and feel. Can this be done?

would something like this work?
I see you set a static marker as an indicator of where the user should click. Hummm...I want to get a marker to drop WHEREVER the user clicks so they can see where they did click. This is even if the place is wrong.
sorry I took this to be the 'hint' where a user clicks - not after the event.
