I have 11 Numeric Entry fields (one is text) on a Freeform question. When I preview the question, only two of the eleven display a zero. Has anyone come across this issue?
Are you seeing this in preview or publish? Are you using Storyline 1 or Storyline 2? I am not seeing a 0 either in preview or publish. I want to first confirm that you are working locally as described here. If you'd like to share a copy of your .story file we'd be happy to take a look.
I didn't see this in my own files when inserting a number of numeric entries. Looking at them all in the variable list, they do have a default value of 0 but it isn't showing on the slide. I went in to edit one of the variables values - and that caused it to start showing the 0. So it seems editing the variable is what causes the 0 to actually begin showing. It seems deleting the text entry box, and then adding it again using "CTRL + Z" will allow it to be reset. You'll need to adjust any triggers at that point as well.
Understandable Rick - and just an FYI responding via email includes your signature here. It doesn't look to be an confidential info, but wanted to let you know in case. :)
The fix just occurred! I deleted the two fields as well as the variables and duplicated an existing one, then renamed the variable. Thanks Ashley for your input!

I am seeing this in Preview in Storyline 2. Two of the fields display the 0 and the other 9 don't. I don't want the zero to display at all.

Thank you! I will give that a go. Frustrating to say the least!

I deleted the field and used CTRL-Z to undo. The "0" still shows. I even tried to delete the default value and that didn't work.

Thanks for the update Rick, and also a good reminder to follow these guidelines while working on your projects.
I always work on my local hard drive and give accurate path/filenames (less than 260 characters).
