I have been creating a Storyline project. Suddenly, whenever I try to add a trigger, Storyline freezes. The only way I can close the file is to invoke the Windows 7 Task Manager to "force quit" the Storyline. Can someone at Articulate please advise how to fix this?
I can in fact get out of the "freeze"by pressing the ESC key. But I can not add triggers or modify any existing triggers. I have uninstalled and re-installed Storyline as well as Adobe Flash Player. I am Windows 7.
All projects. It cleared up randomly. I suspect I may have accidentally invoked some odd keyboard shortcuts and just as accidentally reset them. Re-installing Storyline and Flash Player did nothing. I have asked Storyline tech support if they are aware of any keyboard shortcuts that cause problems.

I should add that I can not add triggers to any new Storyline project now without causing the program to freeze.

Hi Ted,
is this happening to all projects or just one?

Hi Geert,
All projects. It cleared up randomly. I suspect I may have accidentally invoked some odd keyboard shortcuts and just as accidentally reset them. Re-installing Storyline and Flash Player did nothing. I have asked Storyline tech support if they are aware of any keyboard shortcuts that cause problems.
Thanks,
Ted
Hi Ted,
I'm happy to read that all's OK.
Another reason may be a faulty memory bank.
Such problems are very random an difficult to find.
Cheers
Geert
