I have published out several storylines to upload into moodle (as a scorm activity). Publish out, zipped the folder and then ftp (manually) into the LMS.
Trying to save a step and have the ftp option (after you have published a storyline ) send the zipped folder up to my LMS. There appears no option for that - and the ftp option in storyline ONLY sends the unzipped folder up.
In Storyline and our Studio suite, it's only possible to upload to one server directly from the software - Articulate Online. It's not possible to upload via FTP directly from the software itself.
I can certainly see how this would save a little time and it would be a pretty handy feature to include. However, this isn't how the software is currently designed. If you'd like to see this available in the future, I'd recommend reaching out to our product development team by submitting a feature request. Please try to be as detailed as possible when submitting a request - the more information we have, the better!
