Game Scoring
Jun 01, 2016
Hello,
I am very new to Storyline 2. "New" as in I've only been working with it for two days. I'm in the process of creating a Jeopardy game. I have the easy stuff put together, such as the background, the multiple choice questions (20 of them), graphics, and adding a "trigger" to a couple of buttons.
However, I can't figure out the variables to create a live score, as well as to make a green check mark or red "X" show up after they've answered each question.
Can anyone direct me to a step by step video, or give me step by step instructions on how to do this? I need step by step because I don't really know how to work this software yet.
I've added my file to this post so you can see how much of a mess it is. I copied the Jeopardy questions page from an older version we had, but I was unable to update that game-hence me making a new one from scratch.
Thank you in advance!

In addition to Christie's links, here are some step by step instructions for doing some of the basics you're asking about:
Working with image states, for the "x's" and checkmarks
Working with variables
Working with triggers
Using variable references, to display your live score
Hope this helps!
Awesome links, Brian! Thank you for sharing those tutorials! :)
