Getting duplicate feedback text boxes in feedback layer
Feb 09, 2017
Hi there - I've been searching past threads and haven't found a solution for this. When I create a multiple choice question with feedback by choice, no feedback layers are created at all unless I type something in the feedback in form view:
However if I type custom feedback text in form view, then I get not one, but TWO feedback text boxes:
I can hide the extra text box, but it's extra work - and I wonder really if I am doing something wrong? Here's a look at my customized feedback master, where I was pretty sure I'd removed the placeholder for 'Incorrect'.
Is there something I am missing/doing wrong?

Hello Anne - Not sure I've seen the issue of the duplicate feedback before. Would you be able to share your .story file for us to take a look.
I'm updating some existing slides with new graphics/answers.
In the attached file, if you go to slide 1.2 Distributor Information, you'll see the existing layers (which I have to delete since they don't apply any longer). If you click on Form View, you'll see there are no answers specified, so if you choose an object as an answer, you should be able to replicate the problem.
Hello Anne - Not sure if that's just the formatting you have set nor do I know the look you 'want'. I designated one of the selections on Slide 1.2 as correct, placed a spacebar in the feedback box, so that the feedback matched Slide 1.1. Is that what you are looking for?
I can't open the link above for some reason. Tried to save/download but that just gave a zip file with a lot of xml in it:
It is a .story file - could you try in a different browser perhaps?
