Getting the current timeline secs into a variable

Unfortunately there is not a way to capture that in a variable - but it sounds like it would be a good idea for a feature. 

We need to show a duration of each screen/slide. Is this feature added now?

It's not a feature of Storyline yet. Could you share a bit more about how you'd want the information displayed or captured? That info would help the community in offering some other ideas! 

Hi, I believe this is very old thread but still actual.

Long story short - is there any javascript function to get the current timeline time? For example:

var currentTime = GetPlayer().GetTimeline().currentTime;

I need it too.
