.Gif file issue in Microsoft Browsers

Jun 30, 2020

I created an animation using Adobe Animate and published it as a .gif.  I put the animation in the course file and when I review it in Review 360 or on my LMS using Chrome everything is fine.  However, when the course is reviewed using a Microsoft browser (IE or Edge) it appears that the animation jumps to the end of the timeline, then jumps back to the beginning and runs normally.

Has anyone else seen this issue or, even better, have a fix for it?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi Jay,

Thank you for reaching out!

While I haven't seen any recent issues around .gif files, let's see if we can figure out this snag! I created a sample course using a gif, however, I wasn't seeing any issues when using Edge or IE 11. Could I have you test this sample course in those browsers on your side to see if the issue persists: Review 360 Link to Course
