Giving Learners Choice Freedom
Feb 24, 2016
Hello, I am new to Articulate Storyline and am in the process of creating a fairly simple module.
Background: Learner is given 4 Main Topics and may explore / learn about each topic in whichever order he/she chooses.
Question: How do you set up the triggers so Articulate recognizes which points have been completed and which have not? I would like the learner to be taken to a home screen upon completion of each Topic which then shows the remaining sections left. Once again, these may be clicked on in no particular order.
Thank you in advance for the help!
Marie

Hi Marie
would you like to upload your .story file as you have it now and I'm sure someone can help...it's easier to recommend something to you if we can see your setup. Just use the 'Add Attachment' button at the bottom of the post.
Hi Marie,
I hope this can help you in how to use the triggers. If you din't get an idea from this, please let me know, I am here to help you.
Marie,
This story may illustrate some of the features you want to use.
Hi, Marie -- Thanks so much for your question, and welcome to the community! I see that you are getting lots of great help from your fellow community members, but perhaps you may want to consider this information on Choosing Feedback and Branching Options, as well?
If that is not what you had in mind, and none of the suggestions offered have hit the nail on the head, I agree with Wendy: it is always very helpful if you can share your file to help illustrate what you'd like to accomplish! Please use the ADD ATTACHMENT button in the bottom left of the reply box and you will be able to browse/upload from there. :)
