Hi- We are looking to share an eLearning globally. The content is proprietary so it needs to be secure (i.e username and password). Ideally looking for a free solution as there are 7,00+ employees that need to access. Thanks!
Learning management systems like Moodle are open source and free, if a bit tough to understand and use. Paid options offer more security and usability, saving you money and time in the long run.
If you're looking for a simple option, you can always apply a basic username/password authorization to the directory where your content will be hosted on the web server
