Global JavaScript Function
Feb 06, 2020
Good Day Heroes,
Hope someone can help me. I have a js array where I hold course information. When the learner clicks on a object in a slide that requires information, I set up the index of the information and then execute the javascript to get the information.
The problems comes when I add an entry to the js array, I have to go to all the scripts to update the js array. This is becoming a bit of a nightmare, and would like to put the js array processing into a global js function in articulate. In that way, I can update the function in one place and not all over.
I tried to go through a video which demonstrates something about weboject and fake data, but I'm afraid I got totally lost by the youtube video.
Any help in creating a global js function that can be accessed by all slides and all objects in a slide, would be highly appreciated - novice in js.
Not sure if this is the correct discussion thread that I am posting to.
Regards
Earl

There's an easier way. You can save your data as dynamic text labels and add a trigger to pull the data when the module starts, so you can use the variables throughout the project.
