Glossary - Storyline

Jun 05, 2014

Is it possible to add a custom button in a slide that will open the built in Glossary.

I have created a custom tool bar for navigation but the glossary is too hard to set up in a slide if there are many entries.  And in it's current form - Storyline V5 - I can not import the Engage Glossary.

Thanks Tee.

Hi Christine,

You can't add a button that would trigger a player tab - although I think that sounds like a really good feature request for the exact situation you're describing!

Currently Engage '13 can't be imported into Storyline, although our team is working on that for a future version. You could include it as a web object though:

 1. Have all of your Engage output in one folder.

2. Rename your Interaction.html (Studio 13) file to"Index.html"

3. In Storyline, click insert web object and click on thefolder icon.

4. Direct Storyline to the Engage folder (just select thefolder, no need to navigate inside).

5. Click Ok.

Now, when you publish, all of the Engage files will getpulled into your presentation.

Hope this helps!
