I inserted some GoAnimate videos (mp4) in my Storyline 360 file. When I publish using the HTML5 format only, I can't see the videos in Internet Explorer; however I can using Chrome. Unfortunately, most of the users who will be taking this eLearning course will have Internet Explorer. I can see the video in IE if I use the Flash format, but my organization requires the HTML5 format. I have asked others on my team to test as well, just so as to isolate that it's not my machine only. All had the same result. Does anyone have a solution to this?
Might be an issue on your end. We just dumped a GoAnimate mp4 into a new Storyline file and it plays just fine in IE. Our file is straight html5 output as Flash is not allowed for our client.
Solution: What finally worked was to reduce the physical frame size of the video. The default import size of the video may have been preventing it from playing automatically (I literally clicked the Height down arrow once to make the video smaller, then it started playing automatically).

IE 11
I'll check with the artist to make sure he didn't resave the video file.
Yes... mp4 file was straight from GoAnimate and plays fine in IE.

Hi Michelle,
I appreciate you popping back in to share an update with the community.
I'm not familiar with GoAnimate, but that information certainly could help someone that runs across this thread in the future.
Welcome to E-Learning Heroes as well - looks like we missed that with your initial post :)
Did you resize the video in SL or in GoAnimate?
I resized it in Storyline.
Michelle
