Goodbye message unwanted

Aug 11, 2022

Good morning,

last night I've updated storyline 360 and from that moment every file I publish has an annoying 'Content has ended' message that we don't want. How come? How do I get rid of it?

Thank you in advance

Hi Francesco,

Thanks for reaching out!

I'm sorry to hear that you're receiving this message after updating Storyline 360. Some LMSs display this closing page (the goodbye.html page in your published output) to make sure they have time to process learners' results before the browser closes. You can customize or suppress the goodbye message by following these steps.

Please let me know if you have additional questions. I hope this helps!

Thank you very much for replying Kelly. I will follow those steps. I'll take advantage of this conversation to ask you some advice for info about how tha LMS can interact wit a published articulate scorm object. We have a lot of troubles regarding these kind of issues, for example this topic to which unfortunately nobody hasn't reply yet: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/change-navigation-status-from-restricted-to-free-in-a-published-file-for-a-specific-user

What kind of professional should I look for in order to have these kind of advice?

Thank you again and sorry for my bad english... I write better in italian, i swear. :)

I'm happy to help, Francesco!

I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble. I'm not an expert with LMSs, but here is some information about how to make sure your courses work with your LMS.

Additionally, if you're experiencing an issue with your course, you can test it in SCORM Cloud. If the issue persists, then we'll be happy to take a look at your file to see what is causing the issue. If the course works properly in SCORM Cloud, then the issue is likely within your LMS, and I'd recommend reaching out to them for assistance.

Hopefully others in the community will have some advice or input to share with you on this topic!
