I'm having an issue with graded hot spot questions and would greatly appreciate some assistance. I'm using custom buttons, which may be part of the problem.
When I put the Submit button on a separate layer, as on slide 1, the item scores correctly. However, when the user gets the results and clicks on the Review button, the Review layer does not display.
When I put the Submit button on the base layer, the item scores incorrectly.
You nailed it on the head! A custom submit button will not work for a hotspot question as you have it currently set to the player submit button.
This user guide covers your options in terms of how you can choose to submit a hotspot interaction. In the Question Tools: Design Tab, if you change the Submit option to On click, then the interaction works as expected!
