Hi, I am in the process of
making a course accessible/section 508 compliant. on the screen there are
progress indicators which I do not wish the screen reader to see, I have turned
them off in all their states but they still show up in the tab order. Is there
any way this can be achieved? This is a problem I am having on other screens
where an object has multiple states.

It certainly seems like we should be able to turn off the accessibility box for your progress indicators.
I'm going to get this logged with our QA team, and will update here as soon as I hear something.
