Also check if under player settings -> other | your player size is locked at optimal size. If you allow scaling, this could impact the quality of your images.

Thanks guys still the same I might go back and check the original graphic.

If they are small png you might want to try bring them in at a larger size, I typically bring small png in at 10x their size or they look mottled

For those who may stumble on this post, bringing the small graphics in at a larger size and resizing them as Phil suggested solved the problem.
