I know this sounds weird, but I am using a series of variables to change the states of seven tabs, based on users' visit on multiple buttons under each tab.
I have got all other tabs working except for one: the variable would behave correctly and change the state of the tab, but then it would just turn to empty.
I don't know what happened.
I know I am supposed to post a story file here, but this project is huge with lots of variables. I will try to see if someone has similar situation, without me having to simplify the project and post the story file here.
Are you publishing to SCORM 1.2 by chance? If so, and you have a lot of variables and/or other stuff, you might be exceeding the "suspend_data" limitations of that version of SCORM. When that happens it can have effects like you describe.
Try publishing to SCORM 2004 3rd Edition to see if that helps.
