Hi! I am working on course where the user has to pick two or three hotspots on an image of a form to demonstrate their understanding of where to look for pertinent information.
I am use the "pick many" freeform question slide.
However, when I test the feature by clicking on the correct answers and click submit, I get the lovely "invalid answer, you must complete the question before submitting" message.
When you do a convert to freeform pick many, the object you use has to have a selected state when converted. This allows the user to select or deselect. Hotspots don't have states, thus they don't work.
The option I describe above works and it is essentially the same steps as when you first started. The only difference being that you are created the transparent shape rather than a hotspot. But from a production perspective, it's an extra 10 seconds. :)
Thank you. It seems to be working well. I just liked the spiral wheel that
indicated the users choice for the Pick One slide. But, using the box as
you suggested is simple enough. I just have the box change colors once
visited.

You can use a transparent shape instead.
Here's a quick tutorial.
Ohhhhhhhh... can. I use the free-form Hotspot slide with more than one
hotspot?
No, it's treated like a single selection.

Thanks again!
One more question please. I am now ready to publish for review, but for
some reason, my third scene is not publishing in order.
I start with an intro slide then move to scenarios involving the CLUE
report, then move the MVR report. The published version jumbles them up.
I even went back and changed the triggers so that the participant is
directed to the next slide by number instead of just "next slide"
I am including images of the Articulate file and the file preview to see if
you can help me figure out what I am doing wrong
Thank you!
Did you attach the image?
Hmm.. thought I did. Maybe that is my problem.. 😊
