I'm not sure on this and played around. My object is a text box. I've looked in Triggers and not seen the option to hide. Maybe it is just me and learning curve?
this would be the trigger - if this doesn't work for you perhaps you can share your .story file and someone can take a look for you. Just use the 'add attachment' button at the bottom of the post.

All objects have a built-in state of hidden.
