Having issues
Nov 29, 2017
A module a built a while ago has started running slow (its three slides and a PDF).
When the user submits their response it freeze and crashes (video attached)
I have logged this with our LMS provider as they have recently changed our server, but they are saying it a content problem as the content is linking to http://tempuri.org.
There are no hyperlinks and I am using a content player, so I have no idea how it could be linking to this site, I have a couple of other module behaving like this as well, all with inbuilt players.
Any help would be great as I have annoyed users, and it's only a matter of time before I have annoyed managers/business areas
The modules are Scorm 1.2
Built either in Storyline 2 or Articulate 13

Hi Helen,
Hmm, that certainly sounds strange. Have you tried testing the content in another learning management system to see whether the same problem happens there?
SCORM Cloud is really handy for this kind of testing--I'd be happy to help you with that, if you'd like!
Hi Alyssa,
I have tested it on Scorm cloud and its behaving as it should which is why it's so annoying.
Our LMS people have said to go to the 'Configuration.js' file > locate the 'var blnDebug' line at the top of the file and set this from 'true' to 'false' > then locate the 'var DO_NOT_REPORT_INTERACTIONS' line which is further down and set this from False then True.
Which seems to have fixed the error, but I don't know what it does to the module?
Thanks for the update, Helen! Good to know the content is working well on SCORM Cloud. Modifying the published output isn't something we offer support for, but hopefully other community members who have experience with this can chime in and help.
