Having problems with slide order

Hi all,
I'm in the process of building a large project with 9 scenes. I have moved the slides around a lot as I have created new content or imported content from elsewhere. Despite my slides appearing in the right order in story view, I can't get them to play in the right order. I have checked the triggers and I have altered the order in the player menu but it keeps defaulting to the original slide order (i.e. 2.1, 2.2 etc). Even when I reset the menu, the problem persists. I've read a lot of related strings so know that this problem comes up from time to time. Can anyone help please? I'm using Storyline 1. Thanks.

have you tried creating a new project file and importing the file into that - you could control it by importing scene at a time to be sure.

Thanks for your reply. I'm finding that if I import (or copy) a scene into a new project then the issue remains. The only way seems to be to copy each slide independently which is a bit tedious as there are 72. No worries though - at least it works! Thanks for your help.
Hi Dean,
I know scene order and numbering is a common question here, and this article and video may help explain how they're ordered. Using the "reset from story" within the player menu will reset the menu back to what it was originally (reflecting the original slide titles of your course). You can also manually arrange the titles in the player menu as described here.
