Having stops along a motion path

Apr 11, 2016

Hello everyone,

I have used this panel before and received great results so I want to give this a try again.  On my first slide I have an object (turtle) on a track.  As the user goes through the course, I want the turtle to move along the track.  Each beer represents another group of slides.  My issue seems to be that I have the turtle move to the first beer and it goes to 1.3 (great!) After 1.3, it goes through the rest of the linear courses.  When it returns to the track screen, I would like the animation to continue on the motion path and go to the second beer.  The second beer would open another line of linear slides.  What is currently happening is that the turtle comes back out to track and then goes right back in to slide 1.3.  Any advice would be so greatly appreciated.

Hi Claire!

I simply made a True/False Variable for the section:

Default to false, and adjusts to True on the last slide in the section.

So - that when the slide goes back to the menu:

The slide will not auto jump back because I added a condition that only jumps if the condition is false and completing the section made it true as I shared above - so it will only work the first time.

I used the same condition to make the 1st beer class 'visited' as well when the condition is set to true.

I hope that helps a bit more.

We have some tutorials here that may assist in understanding as well.
