Skip Assessment Questions and not move to Results Slide until all questions answered

Nov 30, 2018

Hello!

I am working on an assessment and need some guidance.

I want my users to be able to skip questions using the menu feature, and I want to prevent them from moving to the results slide until all questions are answered. Is there a way to set up triggers or variables to achieve this?

We are using the submit button on each question and that will show the correct/incorrect layer feedback.

We want to guarantee all questions are answered vs. using a slide to remind users to check to ensure all questions are answered.

Thank you in advance!

Hi Stephanie,

Thanks for reaching out and letting us know what you would like to create in your project.

We do have a Submit All feature that allows users to skip around, but this would not have the Submit button on each slide as it sounds like you would like to see.

Hopefully, someone in the community will be able to help you out with your design.

Daniel,

When using the side bar menu, users can select questions at random to answer. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to ensure they don't move to the results slide.

For example, the user skips question 5 and answers all remaining questions. They submit their final answer, they review the feedback slide and click continue. The continue button is set up to take them to the results slide because it is the last question. The unanswered slide is scored as incorrect.

Hope that helps clarify.
