hi! i'm a newbie and i know a little bit more than the basics of storyline but now im getting into the variables and all those things i have no clue about! yay fun!
im working in storyline 1 and i have an interaction where when you click it shows the slide layer and everything is great but when i go to the next slide and then return back to the slide where i had to click on the interaction..i no longer have to click it just plays automatically... how do i make it that you always have to click to show the interaction? please help!

go into the slide properties of the slide with the interaction (cog wheel in the bottom right hand corner of the slide layers properties and change the option 'When revisiting - reset to initial state' - see if that works how you want.
you are my hero :) thank you thats exactly what i was looking for !!! :D also if you have any links or tips for a beginner to learn more about the more complicated parts of storyline like the variables and stufff... that would be most helpful and i would be most grateful!
