I have just watched a tutorial about toggling closed captions on/off, and how you can create your own button to do this using the in-built Player.DisplayCaptions variable. However, I don't seem to have this variable - can someone please give me guidance?
Even if I import a second .srt file the Player.DisplayCaptions variable doesn't appear. I tried to insert it manually, but the variable is not accepted due to the presence of the dot between Player and Display.
The variable should be in the Built-In list when you open a new project regardless of whether there are captions in the story file - this screenshot if from a new file opened without any content. If it is not displaying you may need to run a 'repair' of SL
Happy to take a look at your file if you want to upload it.
