I am pulling my hair out - for what is probably a very simple fix and I cannot figure it out.
See attached timeline slide. As you click on the dates on the timeline, the photo on the first slide is not disappearing and continues to show behind each of the timeline photos. It is odd because the text on the initial slide disappears, it is only the image that is not disappearing.
If anyone has any insights as to how I can fix this I will be so happy.

if you go into the slide layer timeline and click the arrow that shows the base slide objects. Here you can show/hide items.
Just deselect the Picture 1 item in the layer timeline and it will disappear.
Oh, you are my hero!! I didn't even know that feature was there. Thank you SO much. All fixed. ;-)
