I've embedded as a web object a YouTube video I created. But once published, I can't figure out a way to allow the viewer to expand the screen using the bottom right hand YouTube icon. And this is important for some of the slides I have.
I looked for a parameter to add to the URL that might allow this, but I didn't see one. Anyone else have a solution for this?
I've attached a video slide sample for referral to make sure I've set this up correctly.
Hi there Elizabeth! Are you testing this by publishing to Web with HTML5? I tested with both Flash and with HTML5. The Flash version worked as expected, but the HTML5 version did not.
Here are links to the published outputs so you can test on your end:
Hi again Elizabeth, I found that this is a known issue with Storyline:
When you embed videos from websites, such as YouTube and Vimeo, in Storyline 2 courses, you may find the fullscreen button for these videos is either missing or doesn't work in your published output. This is a known issue. See this article for more information and a solution.

I'm going to do a bit more digging on the issue with HTML5 - I'll pop back in when I have more to share!

Thanks, Alyssa. I appreciate the info. I would have recorded in Storyline but they don't allow for captions. I appreciate your time..
You're welcome, Elizabeth!
