I have inserted a short video turtorial into my Storyline project using Camtasia. I have resized the video to take up the entire screen. However, when previewing the project, the video will resize automatically! Thoughts?
It looks like your aspect ratio between the video and the player window is not set the same. If you want to stretch the video to fill the space try setting the size in the property box and see if it sticks. Your other option is to set the player to be the same size or aspect as your video. It would then fill the frame as you want.
Usually, its not a good idea to stretch video, or any image for that matter. You'll always introduce artifacts and it will look less sharp than normal.
In Storyline, when you go to the Design tab and click Story Size, what dimensions do you see there?
Whatever dimensions you see there will need to be the same dimensions you use in your screen recording, if you want the recording to fill the entire slide.

I hope that helps!
