Hi! I am putting together my first lesson in Storyline and have hit my first "hmm..." moment. I have a slide with 3 layers. I want to set the timer so layer 1 is up right away, layer 2 is up after 3 seconds, and layer 3 is up after 8 seconds. But I don't want the next button to appear until AFTER all 3 layers are up so the user HAS to get through all 3 layers to move on. I think the answer would be in the variables section, but not 100% sure. Any advice? Something I'm missing?
are the previous layer information staying on screen when the next layer appears? Perhaps if you have a slide started it might be easier to work with your setup.

Hi Justin
are the previous layer information staying on screen when the next layer appears? Perhaps if you have a slide started it might be easier to work with your setup.
Here is a sample that may help
Thanks Wendy! That's how I have it set up now, but if the user clicks next before all three layers are up, it advances to the next slide.
Then set these triggers
Change state of Next button to disabled when timeline starts on base layer.
On final layer set trigger
Change state of Next button normal when timeline ends on layer or media completes, depends what is happening on that layer.
