I've been working on a tutorial for about two
weeks, and I just started having this problem today. I don't know what I
did to cause the malfunction, but I can't seem to figure out how to fix
it.
When I try to preview my presentation, it's just
skipping over the first two slides. it displays them in the menu, but
they won't play.
Without seeing the .story file, it is difficult to say, but I would check for a trigger that is advancing the slide prematurely. Check each trigger on the first 2 slides that "Jump to" a new slide to see if it is setup appropriately.
Unfortunately, that makes it very difficult to troubleshoot. I still think it has to be a trigger. I can't think of any other way that a slide can move straight to the 3rd slide.

Hi!
I've been playing with the triggers and I still can't figure it out.
I also am not able to upload the Storyline file.
Sorry!

If you are unable to figure it out, you can always submit a case with Articulate Support. They will keep everything confidential.
Hi Katie and welcome to Heroes!
Josh is correct - if you'd like to share your .story file with our Support team, it's kept private and we'll be able to take a look at all your settings.
