After publishing a project from Articulate Storyline 3 , I usually get a bunch of files in a folder, my questions is, is it possible to 'play' the .html file or the flash file independently when it's on its own outside that folder???
You'll need all the files in that folder for proper playback, and you'll want to keep them in the same setup/structure.
If you're looking to launch the course locally, you can open the story.html file and it will play in your default browser. Keep in mind that local playback can cause you to encounter odd issues in playback due to security restrictions. You'll find some more details in this article, along with options to upload your content to a web server or Learning Management System (LMS) to test properly.
