As of this morning, when I publish a project to my desktop and try to view it via Chrome, the project no longer loads! I get the storyline "spinning circle" while it tries to load.
If I open the story.html file with Safari or another browser, the project is pixelated and of terrible quality.
What's going on with Chrome?! My colleague also tried the process this morning on his machine and encountered the same issue...this was not an issue on Friday...
I tried the workaround in the Flash settings, but can't add my entire desktop as a trusted location - it always makes me identify a file (which didn't work, either).

I should note that I can load the project to scormcloud and it works in Chrome, so this is some sort of local viewing issue.
Hi Logan!
You are correct and Ashley posted about it here.
Hi Leslie-
I tried the workaround in the Flash settings, but can't add my entire desktop as a trusted location - it always makes me identify a file (which didn't work, either).
This is a pretty big hindrance for us...
Problem solved (for now) via this: https://www.articulate.com/support/storyline-2/local-playback-of-published-content-doesnt-work-with-flash-player-23-and-later-in-google-chrome
The key is knowing the path to your desktop and typing it directly in as a trusted location. Trying to locate a file/folder doesn't work.
Looks like you were able to get it to work, per your post here?
Yes, Ashley and I updated this thread, too (see above your reply).
Thanks for checking in!
Sorry Logan- posting at the same time (almost) and I didn't refresh the page. Whoops. ;)
No prob! :)
